Sri Swamiji & Bonsai
Sri Swamiji’s love for greenery and ecology is legendary. The horticultural activities started right after the Ashram (monestary) was established in 1966. Bonsai activity then, was a personal hobby of Sri Swamiji and over the decades Sri Swamiji had a collection of over hundred carefully nurtured bonsai plants. In 2005, Sri Swamiji developed a garden named KISHKINDHA MOOLIKA BONSAI GARDEN and showcased all the bonsai plants in one garden.
"Bonsai is a rare human endeavour that has held me in awe and introspecting over years. In the miniature plant lives a grand life. It reflects the cosmic creation, the play of celestial paradoxes near, yet far, more, yet less, known, yet unknown, small yet big"
